Merivale is selling the beautiful Christmas wreaths. They are locally produced, made of fresh balsam fir and measure about 18 inches. They come decorated with an assortment of bows. Each wreath is $23. Info contact: The deadline is November 10.
They can pick up at the upcoming Merivale United Church Christmas Market at Dec 1, 11:00am.

Back by popular demand, we present local and Ontario bee-related products for sale from now until early December.

Most of you know Crerar honey out of Vernon, just a few miles from here. Their honey is local and without compare. It comes in a variety of sizes and types. If you have not yet tried the butter cinnamon honey – well, you must. Sigh.

This year they are pairing with some new companies. One is Jessica’s, out of Sterling, Ontario, which is offering up some relishes and salsas. All made with Ontario products.

The other new partner is very interesting. They are called Bee by the Sea and are from Barrie. They offer a variety of hair and face/hand cream products. They are both “bee/animal friendly” and have incorporated “Sea Buckthorn” – check out their website for more info. I tried a sample of the body cream and love it!

We also have the very popular Smyth’s Apple Butter, Pepper Jelly and non-alcoholic sparkling ciders. Add to this the candles; the granola bars and other odds and sods – there is the potential for fine Christmas stockings and a good “lie in” of honey for winter.

We will place a few orders between now and Christmas. The first order will be placed October 16; ready for pick-up around the 20th.

The pricing sheet is attached. Complete and return to me, either via email or by hand.

We hope you enjoy and on behalf of Merivale United Church, we thank you for your support! It is BEE-UTIFUL.
