Merivale United Church and Fallowfield United Church are registered charities.

Our internal programs, activities, and outreach are funded by donation.

Generosity and devoted volunteer work are the backbone of our community and turn us into the little engine that could!

• Donate by E-Transfer - Donations sent to MUChurch@bellnet.ca are deposited directly into the Joint Pastoral Charge Account, supporting worship and outreach activities for both congregations.

• PAR AUTHORIZATION FORM (Set up weekly contributions)

All donors will receive an annual tax receipt.

Our programs and ministries include pastoral care for the sick or bereaved, Sunday services and Sunday school programs, meditation and well-being group.

Fellowship groups, such as the book club, and quilters are self-funded by members.

Cost’s that the church has each year include: Salaries for the minister and organist (all other positions are volunteer), utilities (heat, electricity, phone and internet), office supplies, snow ploughing, maintenance, and repairs to our heritage buildings.

Our outreach programs include collecting money and items to support: The Elizabeth Fry Society (women in the justice system), The Stephen Lewis Foundation (HIV/AIDS), Syrian Refugees, Daybreak Non-Profit Housing, Centre 507 (homelessness, mental illness, and addiction. Men’s sock drive), The Well (support for women and children), and residents of long-term care facilities.
