Merivale/Fallowfield Pastoral Charge is a joint pastoral charge under the Ottawa Presbytery. Fallowfield United and Merivale United churches work together under the spiritual leadership of Rev. Sandra Yule who leads our worship service each Sunday with very interesting and thought provoking sermons. She also provides personal guidance and support as needed. As a Christian congregation, we seek to serve our community through care, friendship and support. We invite you to be a part of our congregation which welcomes children, youth, adults and seniors regardless of previous background.

Announcements

Sandra Yule is on holidays this week and will be back in the office next Tuesday. Thank you to Eileen Malcom (F) and Sue Deschamps (M) for leading us in the service on Sunday.

Events

Merivale Fallowfield Book Club meets next on Tuesday July 9 at Fallowfield. The book is Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson plus Tom Sawyer by Mark Twain.

The Choir is on holidays for the summer and will resume in the fall. New members are always welcome.

Merivale Quilters meet next Wednesday from 9:30 am until noon in the Merivale CE Hall but will then be taking July and August off.

Meditation/Well-Being Group meet on Fridays at 10 am in the CE Hall and everyone is welcome at both groups. Kindly refrain from entering the CE Hall during that time from 10- 11. The group will continue to meet over the summer

Tai Chi Group meet on Fridays following the meditation group from 11-12 with Eileen Malcolm leading. Everyone is invited. The group will continue to meet over the summer

DONATIONS

We continue to collect toiletries and non-perishable food for the Food Banks and Elizabeth Fry Society. Thank you to everyone for your continued support.
